Meet Affirmative Action...Bibliography
Hello! We wanted to take this space to share our resources that we looked into during our podcast episode creation
Supporting affirmative action is something that is dear to us and we wholeheartedly believe that affirmative action should be re-established in California.
We’re happy to engage in a conversation with you if you have thoughts about this!

Otherwise, we hope you take some time and check out the articles below. It really helped me get a deeper understanding of how affirmative action came to be and what are some of the myths around affirmative action and context for the Student For Fair Admissions v Harvard lawsuit.
Additionally, we mentioned in our episode about admission rates after Prop 209 went into effect. Here’s a really clear visual of the changes in admission rate for different ethnicity in the UC system after affirmative action was repealed. That’s a pretty shocking and dramatic drop!
Thanks!
